I'm a one-woman business who started out years ago, following my English mother about her garden, learning from her. I've also studied landscaping at U.C. Berkeley. I'm knowledgeable, patient, and most enthusiastic about helping you bring the garden of your dreams to fruition! You'll need one or two hours with me in your garden where we'll discuss together what is best to keep or get rid of; whether you want an area for your children to play in; whether you entertain outside a lot; what your preferred color palette is…I’ll find out exactly what YOU want, how much interest and time you have for gardening, and I'll help you see how we can create your relaxing haven away from the world's cares! A place to calm yet excite both your mind and your heart. If needed, I'll give you a quick sketch to help you visualize the plan, discuss the order the work should be done in, suggest the plant materials you'll need, and where they should be placed. We'll talk about flowers, small plants, bushes, trees, pathways, rocks, statues, water-features, irrigation, and, of course, soil needs, and the conservation of water in our drought-conscious environment and how to achieve that. I know the Latin botanical names for plants, to help you choose the right one from the nursery for your garden design. If all you want is some gardening coaching in a landscape you've already put in, I'm also happy to help. If you need someone to help you do the work itself, I have contacts.
